Union Varsity Highsteppers presents Girls fun Day Saturday, May 3, for Union girls in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth. The event runs from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. at Jarman Elementary. The cost is $35.
Registration is open for intramural softball for girls in grades kindergarten through sixth grade.
The Union Theatre Department invites all Union elementary students - grades pre-kindergarten through fifth - to a "Once Upon A Time Tea Party" from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Union 8th Grade Center.
The public is invited to listen to the Union Elementary Youth Choir, featurng fifth graders from every Union school, at 6:30 p.m. today at the Union Performing Arts Center at the High School, 6636 S. Mingo Road. The concert is FREE to attend.
Effective Monday, March 31, selected school bus routes across the Union district will not be offered due to a shiortage of bus drivers, and families will have to find alternative methods to transport their children to school on certain days for the remainder of the school year.
Union Public Schools has been awarded the Glenn Snider Human Relations Award by the Oklahoma Education Association Board of Directors.
