Before & After School

The Extended Day Program (EDP) provides safe, alternative educational child care, enhancing the child’s extended day. Recognizing the busy lifestyles of today’s family, the district attempts to work in partnership with home and parents by providing before and after school supervision at the school site.

Jarman has an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that works closely with school administration and teachers to promote a positive school experience for all students.

Redhawks Robotics Rumble art

Union Public Schools will host the Redhawks Robotics Rumble this Saturday at the Union 6th/7th Grade Center. The Redhawks Robotics Rumble is an elementary robotics competition where the top teams compete for the championship.

The all-day event starts when doors open at 8 a.m. and check-in and robotic inspections begin.

8:45 a.m. Inpection Closes (Al teams must be present)

9 a.m. Drivers Meeting & Opening Session

9:20 a.m. Skills Open & Interviews Begin

12:15 p.m. Luinch

12:45 p.m. Skills Close

1 p.m. Begin Practice / Qualifications Rounds Begin

3:30 p.m. Qualifing Matches End

3:50 p.m. Final Matches Begin

4:45 p.m. Awards Ceremony
